Although this blog post isn’t about the TV show ‘Bonding’ it is partially inspired by it.
If you’re unfamiliar with the show – it’s a Netflix show regarding a young Dominatrix recruiting her high-school friend as an assistant.
It’s 7 short episodes – around 15 minutes each – and has created a little bit debate regarding a few factors.
Obviously, I’m in full support that some are unhappy that the main character has an in-character account on Twitter, with a blue tick; when actual Dominants and sex workers find themselves shadow-banned.
It also fails to showcase some of the external factors against the industry (example SESTA/FOSTA or the threat of the Nordic Model in the UK) – and she seems to walk around with little consequences.
It wasn’t an intention to go for a landmark number of clips; but, perhaps that in itself was why doing my 200th clip was so valuable.
I’d talked on and off about doing some filming with Nina Hiss – and good fortune had meant that she was available at a time I was in London anyway for a concert.
Someone asked me on Curious Cat “What does ownership mean to you?”
I replied, of course, that this wasn’t something I could sum up in a couple of lines.
I have been working on drafts regarding ownership for a while. Previously, my own views – and then later – that of course I am now under consideration from Miss Suzanna.

Profile Pitfalls
I’m not sure if this is one for a ‘Back to Basics’ article – or – an opinion piece in it’s own right. Maybe a bit of both.

Like many things, I feel there’s no correct solution. There are, however, lots of things that are wrong or disadvantage you.

This didn’t bother me. She knew it didn’t bother me. It was said to excite me.
But, in saying this before I removed Her boots… this did present a challenge.
Do I deserve this?
I am going to cut straight to the chase, I struggle, at times, with ‘Impostor Syndrome’.
In saying that – sometimes when I’m struggling I do acknowledge this is the problem, that it is a known thing. But, that doesn’t, always, help.
After a really good weekend at the Hidden Torturer Farm last year, it was certainly a no-brainer to repeat the opportunity. (Read here for last years adventures).
Like previously, I was going with a view to be of assistance to Miss Courtney. However, a twist in the plot was that Miss Suzanna, whom I also have an amazing relationship with, was attending.
There’s been a lot on my mind lately regarding fantasy vs reality.
While, perhaps, a deeper blog on my thought process could be one “for the future” – this blog here is more designed at some of the many pitfalls that some seem to confuse.
The list is non-exhaustive.
Something that has been a struggle for me at times has been jealousy.
I want to talk about some of my struggles and spirals.
Some of this I drafted when feeling quite low, but a lot was written or reviewed when I was in a good place.
I think that’s also something extremely important, to be able to review how you felt – to be able to manage things in the future.
I would imagine that most/many subs have similar feelings.
It may even be that Dominants have similar, I don’t know. They probably do.
Am I even kinky?
I asked myself that today. Well. Today as of when I’m writing this blog, so in reality probably a different day.
And, I know others have had similar thought processes.
It is an extension, of course, on a previous thought of “Am I really a sub?”
