It’s probably not unnoticed that there are a rise in people signing up to create their own page on a platform like OnlyFans (or AdmireMe, AVN Stars, so on)
Along with this comes the rise in people bitching about people signing up for them.
Whether there’s a hint of fairness (“not so long ago you posted something against this”) or not (“so now everyone is a model?”) or a hint of entitlement and manipulation (“So people won’t do this unless they’re paid, huh? What happened to doing it for fun?”)
There’s a lot of thoughts this churns up within me – I’d like to share. Especially for anyone new to this or chewing sour grapes.
Initially, I was going to write this as a Monty Python style blog.
What have the Professionals ever done for us?
Well, apart from better sanitation and medicine and education and irrigation and public health and roads and a freshwater system and baths and public order… no wait, that was Romans.
I’ve heard this call a lot over the years. Recently a couple of threads on Twitter and Fetlife have prompted me to this mini burst.
Without addressing any specific points.
There’s no such thing as free
I’m going to address this by talking about some of the experiences of myself and my wife and arguably some of the others I’ve played with without tribute.

“Where are all the women?” has been a lowly battle cry since the dawn of the internet.
It’s like the desperate mating call from the male who never leaves his house and is too tight to sign up for a dating site.
Add in some cliche about an unfair ratio or about how “nice guys finish last” and it’s complete.
